I used this to backup a friends phone to a separate micro SD card and it was blazing fast. It was more convenient to do it like this and let him have a backup of his phone in case it was to mess up or get damaged. It also is great for use with my laptop to read many types of memory cards. The speed is only limited by the PC or phone you are using as I am pretty sure this will go fast than my laptops port allows.
